Inspired by native plants of Maine and the traditional Japanese aesthetic of Wabi-sabi (the notion and acceptance of imperfection), this hand-carved ceramic tea set is perfect for enjoying tea while simultaneously being decor for your home. Featured in the hand-carved design are three native shrubs: hobblebush, northern bush-honeysuckle, and gray dogwood.

The tea kettle is about 4.5" in height and 5" diameter at the widest point. The cups are both 2 1/2" tall and 2" wide, while the plates are about 3" in diameter. Finished with cone-06 glaze, giving a semi-matte surface.

*Please note: Kettle is only intended for pouring hot water over tea or serving hot tea. Do not boil water directly in kettle or place kettle over stove burner or flame.

Customer is responsible for shipping costs while artist is responsible for packaging costs. While all efforts are made to prevent damage during shipment and damage is highly unlikely, artist is not responsible if damage does occur as a result of mishandling by the carrier company.
